About the Hosts
Brianna Miluk, MS, CCC-SLP, CLC is a speech language pathologist and certified lactation counselor who focuses on pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders. She especially loves serving infants and medically complex children. Bri strives to provide treatment that builds on responsive feeding approaches, is multidisciplinary, and considers a child's zone of proximal development and principles of neuroplasticity. She primarily works in the homehealth setting and enjoys mentoring future and current SLPs interested in PFDs.
Olivia Whitaker, MS, RDN, LD is a clinical dietitian who recently shifted focus to pediatrics. She was drawn to pediatrics after adopting her son with special needs who requires feeding therapy, speech therapy and the forever long list of every therapy under the sun. Olivia also recently birthed a child and quickly found herself researching everything about pediatrics and nutrition. Olivia states, "so here I am soaking in all the knowledge of pediatrics and sharing the knowledge I gain as I go along. I mainly work with kids ages 0-5 and truly love this new career change!"
Bri and Olivia met through multidisciplinary collaboration and the rest is history! They love "nerding out" on all things PFD, so they decided to share that with the world and The Feeding Pod was born.
